POLL: FEAR GRIPS PDP AS THEY THREATENS ELETORATES

POLL: FEAR GRIPS PDP AS THEY THREATENS ELETORATES

As the postpoment of the general elections earlier slated for February 14 and 28 continues to attract more controversial views, information reaching us indicates that majority of electorates in some local government councils in delta state may not be allowed to exercise their franchise freely. This is as a result of threats allegedly being sent by some leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to some residents who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity, they started that they are all afraid to even come out to vote on election day owing to the threats as they have resolved not to vote PDP.
In Udumure ward 1, Ugboloko ward 7 and Alegbo in Ekpan, Delta State,  the story are all the same as the youths have being threatened severally should they not vote for the ruling party.

”Alot of the young men residents in Udumure and Alegbo had been threatened not to vote against the ruling party, PDP. Alegbo primary school has no single security personnel attached to the voting centre.”
” As we speak, the entire Ekpan is insecured as most of the police men are PDP sympathisers”
”We are afraid that what happened during the last may occur again.”
It would be recalled that in the last elections, Hon. Evelyn Oboro, the house of representatives member representing Sapele, Okpe and Uvwie constituency, Abuja was accused of chasing some voters who have sworn not to vote her with her military escorts into the bush.
However it was not clear as at the time of filing this report if an official petition has been sent to the commissioner of Police.
