Kano Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Abdullahi Mukaila who with his wife and two daughters died in a mysterious fire in their home early this morning have been buried.
The deceased was burnt along with his wife and two children, in an inferno when his residence was engulfed by fire.
The late Minkaila and his family were rushed to the Murtala Mohammed specialist hospital where they gave up the ghost Friday morning.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained at press time.
Spokesman of the Independent Electoral Commission, Mallam Garba confirmed the incident.

The funeral prayer was conducted in Dutse central Mosque, and in attendance were the chairman of INEC, Prof. Attahiru Jega, Governor of Jigawa State Gov Sule Lamido and Emir of Dutse among others. See the photos after the cut...
