The Jeremy Kyle Show featured an absolutely fascinating story of a gay couple who had met online and known each other over the internet for about 2 years, met and had a physical relationship and talked about getting married, only for them to discover they were actually half-brothers on the show.
It apparently became a possibility after one took the other home to meet his family and everyone kept saying how much like his partner's dad he looked.
Members of his family started to remark that Paul looked a lot like his mum Ena’s ex-husband Ron – a man who Lee had no idea even existed
One of them had been put into care at 18 months and adopted at three so it was a real "what are the odds" type situation.What are the odds? They would have had more chance of winning the lottery. Poor guys. At least they can still be together as brothers. just have to redefine their relationship.
It was an amazing (and incredibly heartbreaking) story, and I do wonder if people sleeping with each other without knowing they're related is getting more common. Some people have so many kids and some families are so large I suspect there is a fair amount of accidental incest going on out there.
