Yesterday, Nigerian Twitter went into a frenzy as news broke about Toke Makinwa’s marriage running head-first into a rock. While many demonized her husband, Maje Ayida, some couldn’t wait to wipe the floor with Toke who has for a while been dishing relationship tips on her blog.
What many fans know is that the popular media personality, Toke Makinwa, lost her husband to his ex-girlfriend turned side chick – Anita Solomon – who is reportedly carrying his baby and is set to give birth in the United Kingdom.
Maje who is the sole sponsor of her multi million salon in Calabar has been making trips to the state to visit her.
According to SDK, Anita who is Half Lebanese, half Calabar, lawyer and runs a beauty salon in Calabar has been in a relationship with Maje for the past 8years but broke off with her briefly to get married to Toke.
What many fans don’t know is, Toke is allegedly aware and has been playing stupid.
According to an insider, Toke’s marriage to Maje has always been hanging by a lone thread. The couple are allegedly serial cheats and they both know infidelity runs in their blood so their marriage isn’t and has never been a big deal.
They signed the dotted lines with pencils and they both kept erasers somewhere close.
“He was dating Anita and Toke at the same damn time abeg and they all know about the crazy triangle. Toke was a bit desperate. Can she swear she didn’t know her husband has been cheating since the year started? We knew. She knew. It’s safe to say she doesn’t send because she herself, her legs no dey stay one place. We know this. They are both to blame. The only thing Toke is capable of falling in love with is money or more fame. The marriage has never been a marriage, it was just another of those weddings meant to save face, if you get what I mean,” the source said.
Also, Toke has been trying to have a baby with Maje and it hasn’t happened for unknown reasons and patience has since thinned.
According to another insider close to Maje, he allegedly got Anita pregnant on purpose and had ample time to push for a swift abortion but didn’t.
He said, “Let’s think for a minute. I’m not saying it’s true, so don’t quote me. How many men use condoms when having sex with their ex-es? Many of us do it but many of us “fix” this so-called mistake. Why didn’t he fix the mistake? Think about it bro.”
We also found out Maje has since told his wife about the baby he’s allegedly expecting and is determined to keep it. A lot of fans have blamed Toke for her husband’s alleged infidelity with some saying she didn’t pay close attention to her marriage.
