Girl, Mother Siblings Beat Up Secondary Teacher For Asking Her To Cut Her Hair

JSS 2 student, Precious Nwadike, of Ozar secondary school, Asa in Ukwa West LGA of Abia State, Nigeria, who was sent home by one of her teachers, Mrs Njoku to cut her hair, returned with her mother and elder siblings to attack teachers and students.

Precious Nwadike, had earlier been warned by same teacher two weeks ago to cut her hair but she did not heed to the teachers warning.
Thus, on arrival to school on Monday, the student was asked to go back home and cut her hair.
She left immediately, only to return two hours later with her mother and four of her elderly siblings who marched straight to the staff room and commanded the teacher to come out.
The mother, Mrs Nwadike held the teacher, pulled her cloth and ordered the sons to cut her hair.

The intervention of another teacher, Mrs Osuagwu provoked the sons and one of them, Uche almost strangled her.
The intervention of students led to a free for all fight, which Mrs Nwadike and her children appeared to be fully prepared for.

A youth corp member serving in the school who pleaded anonymity alerted  military personnel who intervened.

Their quick arrival at the school calmed the situation and doused the tension.
Mrs Nwadike and children were arrested and detained at the Obehie police station, in Asa while the Principal of the school Mrs F.N Nwachukwu, took the wounded students and teachers to obehie Health Center for treatment
